Acknowledgements
The Snoqualmie Valley Heritage Trail was created through the shared commitment of many partners who care deeply about preserving, interpreting, and celebrating the history, culture, and natural landscapes of the Valley. We extend our gratitude to all who contributed their time, expertise, and support to bring this project to life.
Snoqualmie Indian Tribe
We honor and acknowledge the Snoqualmie Indian Tribe—for their enduring presence in the Valley since time immemorial. Their cultural knowledge, guidance, and continued stewardship of the lands and waters through which the trail passes shaped the stories and themes presented here. We are grateful for their service on the trail committee, helping create and review plans and interpretation, and for their support and partnership on this project.

Local Communities and Historical Organizations
This project would not have been possible without the contributions of local residents, historians, and volunteers from throughout the Valley. Special thanks to the many individuals who provided research, photographs, oral histories, and insights that ensure the trail reflects the depth and diversity of local heritage.
We also thank the staff, board members, and volunteers of the Duvall Historical Society, Tolt Historical Society, Fall City Historical Society, Snoqualmie Valley Museum, Northwest Railway Museum, Mountains to Sound Greenway and King County Historic Preservation Department whose historical resources and expertise informed much of the trail’s interpretive content.
