Welcome to the Snoqualmie Valley Heritage Trail
We invite you to explore the Snoqualmie Valley Heritage Trail, one of Washington’s most scenic and historically rich corridors. Stretching through forests, farmlands, and vibrant communities, the trail follows former railway routes and ancestral homelands of the Snoqualmie Tribe, connecting visitors with thousands of years of natural and cultural history.
Whether you’re walking, cycling, or simply discovering the stories that shaped the Valley, the trail offers an immersive journey through places once traveled by Native peoples, early homesteaders, loggers, farmers, and railroad workers. Interpretive stops along the way highlight the landscapes, industries, and communities that transformed the region over time.
Designed for all ages and abilities, the Snoqualmie Valley Heritage Trail provides a meaningful way to experience the Valley’s past while enjoying its stunning present. Choose your own starting point, explore at your own pace, and let the trail lead you through the heritage of the Snoqualmie Valley.
The Snoqualmie Valley Heritage Trail in part follows the Snoqualmie Valley Trail which is managed by King County Parks but does detour off of the Snoqualmie Valley Trail to visit other historic corridors and sites along the way.
