This weekend will be hot and many will play at the This weekend will be hot and many will play at the river to cool down. Reminder: be safe, the Snoqualmie River typically kills multiple people on the first warm weekend of the year. Our community does not want to loose more friends and family. The water is ice cold, swift and has hidden debris that will catch people and not let them surface. Teach or remind your friends and family of the dangers. Encourage life vests, playing in slow areas, watching for signs of hypothermia and making sure your have a safety plan in place for emergencies.
